I’m always excited to share with you inspiring family homes where I spotted Rafa-kids design. This time it was a very unexpected discovery.
Do you know Kid & Coe concept? It’s a kid-friendly property rentals website. All the accommodations are carefully selected and tested to be sure the families with kids would feel comfortable at these homes. I signed for a newsletter and regularly got in my mailbox houses for viewing.
It was a great surprise when, in one of the e-mails, I spotted Rafa-kids R toddler bed. Let’s learn more about the family which is living in this beautiful home in England.
“ Founder Zoie Kingsbery Coe created Kid & Coe in 2013 out of personal necessity. For years she had been traveling the world with her musician husband, children in tow, and saw that hotel accommodations that suited a touring couple no longer fit the needs of her growing family. Zoie began seeking out kid-friendly property rentals that made her family feel at home wherever they were in the world. As increasing numbers of parents asked Zoie to share her travel expertise and property secrets, Kid & Coe was born. ”
The owner – an architect, designed this modern home! Built for family life with a large garden and playroom, within walking distance of the historic cathedral city of Winchester. The house is home to a family of 5 with children of 8 and 4, plus a baby.
I adore the large, open-plan space, which is perfect for family life. Extra bonus it opens directly into a garden, which is great for running around and playing with kids. There is even a separate playroom for kids well occupied with a range of books, games, and toys. Upstairs there are three children’s rooms beautifully decorated with more books and toys. Do I need to say more? I appreciate the stylish and contemporary design and interiors in this home, starting from the living room and ending with all the kid’s rooms.
What a bright and light family home!
Do you like the modern toddler room? The base of the space is kept very simple with white walls and grey carpet floor. The most significant elements in this room are furniture: dresser and Rafa-kids R bed. I think the decision to choose wood gives a warm touch into this space. The rest of the area is kept in natural colors, which ensures a calm and modern atmosphere. I was so happy to discover this house, which proves that not every child’s room needs to scream colors and patterns. Don’t you agree?
When we expect a child we would like all the best possible for the baby room, but the true is that we really don’t need that much. And believe me, each year, many toys and accessories will pop in into kids room, even if we don’t want to….
Most kids’ rooms are not the biggest in the house, which makes it extra challenging to accommodate smart storage. Plenty of LEGO blocks was our biggest struggle…
