Strong & safe

All Rafa-kids tables and benches are made to last of an extra-thick 21mm plywood. B table drawers en K desk lid are soft-closing to ensure no little fingers get trapped. All edges are beautifully rounded and smooth.

Being Architects, we are used to dealing with complex projects. We approached the production of our furniture the same way – each step in the process is carefully designed. No greenwashing, but a sustainably cautious approach from the beginning till the end.

FSC-certified:
Rafa-kids uses only FSC-certified wood
Our Finnish partners produce the highest quality birch plywood with respect and care for their Nordic forests.

Resposible manufacturing:
Rafa-kids furniture is produced in Poland in a state of art, solar-powered factory, where we use highly efficient CNC production to reduce waste.

Eco-packaging:
The furniture is next-generation flat-packed to reduce the carbon footprint on storage and transportation. We are packaging with minimal use of plastic. Even when we ship freight, we use cardboard pallets and recyclable packaging.

No-waste culture:
Our wood samples are produced from waste material and designed so nicely that you can use them at your desk instead of throwing them away.

Long-life furniture:

Shipping & assembly

Shipping

Your furniture ships in one of the three ways:

FedEx shipment – for customers outside the EU. Our beds ship in separate, flat-packed boxes that you can easily move up the stairs if necessary. You can track the shipment online.

White-glove delivery – If you are living in Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Belgium, France (Paris region), Switzerland or United Kingdom – your furniture will be delivered by a dedicated team to the room of your choice. We will contact you with the proposed date and 2-hour delivery window.

Freight delivery – for other European countries. We pack your product safely on a pallet. We will call you in advance for a delivery appointment. The pallet is delivered to the door of your house or building. The packaging is solely cardboard or recyclable film, so you can easily dispose of it.

Assembly

Rafa-kids furniture has a unique click connector system. The assembly is easy and fun to do with your kids. Our team at the factory installs most of the connectors inside the wooden panels, so-called: pre-assembly. You simply follow our clear manual and click the elements together.

Disassembly is as easy, and thanks to the premium quality of wood, the furniture stays in great shape even after several disassemblies.

If furniture assembly is not your cup of tea – we will take care of it!

Professional assembly by our trusted team. On a day that suits you. We set up your furniture in no time, leave the room clean, and remove all leftover packaging. This service is currently available in Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Belgium and France.

If you are in any way not satisfied with your order, we would like you to contact us so that we can help you solve the issue. However, if you decide to return your product, you can do this within 14 days of delivery receipt.
