White Minimal Bedroom
In the current world situation and what happened on the 24th of February, most things seem so irrelevant. It’s difficult for me to take my mind off the news and stop worrying about what is happening with our neighbours in Ukraine. I hope this conflict will end as soon as possible.
I will try to give you some comfort and inspiration today and share a beautiful place we visited a few weeks ago. I’m not sure if I ever mentioned store Loods5 on the Blog? This is one of my favourite spots in The Netherlands if we talk interior design. They have few stores around the country, but we visit Zaandam mostly. Long story short – it’s a large warehouse having different brands under one roof + their furniture and accessories collection. What I like the most in this store are the styling rooms where they mix and match products to inspire us.
This beautiful Soft Bedroom – called WHITE STRUCTURE is my latest discovery. Let’s have a look.

Quiet Colours > Complex Textures and Forms
You can call me a big monochrome lover 😉 and I’m talking about interior decoration, dressing up or admiring a painting. Putting together similar colours together has some magic for me! Maybe that’s why I felt like a child in a candy store while walking around this White Bedroom. I’m not sure if I would even call it a White Bedroom; it’s much more than that. The selection of all elements in natural tones gives me so much comfort and joy.Â
Warm Minimalism Â
I wish our homes would have an interior that is restful and welcoming. Can that be achieved with minimalism? When someone says: minimal interior, the first thought which comes to our mind is: less products in a room. Clean and bare minimalist interiors are often chosen by people looking for a life of simplicity. Good-bye to clutter and embrace clean living! There is a risk that when we would like to simplify too much, we can create a cold and uninviting space. It’s crucial that we still embody character and warmth in our homes, even with fewer things around. We need textures and exciting shapes to avoid the interior feeling cold or bland!Â
Power of LessÂ
Investing in beautiful pieces that will last a lifetime rather than filling an interior with meaningless stuff – that’s a concept I like! I don’t know if you realise that spacious and clean space also positively affects our minds?
“Minimalist interiors evoke quality over quantity. The occupants decorate with classic pieces that will stand the test of time even with daily use. From the large furniture pieces to the bedding and cushions, buying quality will only enhance the pared-back aesthetic. ”Â
The end bonus – a minimalist home is easier to clean and maintain > the less stuff you have in your home, the less you have to clean! 😉
“ This year, we will start completely different, namely with one style that you can use for years to come. In the context of less is more, we searched for inspiring minimalism. Not the kind that makes you think of an uninviting cold store, but a warm variant with space for personal items, cosy family life and relaxation. “ from Lood5 magazine
Cuddly Fabrics > what’s that?Â
Choosing suitable quality fabrics is essential to enjoy our bedroom. Please look at this bed in the pictures; the bedding and pillows are not just white, but there is a combination of shades of beige. We see linen, wool, cotton and a mix of pillows with different textures. Don’t be afraid to play! If we stay in a similar colour combination, it is much easier.Â
In choosing the materials, let’s not limit ourselves only to our bed. If we make a selection of upholstery for other furniture – such as armchairs or puffs, make it comfy and cosy. Of course, a soft rug can’t be missing. My favourite in this room is the set created on a wooden bench. It’s a small still life with different little elements to wake up our senses. One beautiful large poster gives this magic bedroom even more atmosphere and soul.Â
